# Factory Reset

To completely reset your Shark Jack Display, a factory reset process is included.

This will *completely* reset your Shark Jack Display! Be sure to save any configuration, payloads, and any other changes you may have made before performing a factory reset!

## Resetting the Shark Jack Display <a href="#resetting-the-packet-squirrel" id="resetting-the-packet-squirrel"></a>

Navigate to `Settings` > `System` > `Reset` > `Factory Reset`&#x20;

You will be prompted to confirm, and reminded that this cannot be undone.

Once confirmed, the Shark Jack Display will begin the factory reset procedure. When it has completed, the device will automatically reboot. You will be greeted with the initial setup welcome screen.&#x20;
